I'M DONE!!!

Mark this one in the books, ladies and gentlemen. After much, much (and I do mean much) stress and sickness, I have COMPLETED all my tracks for the upcoming Bella album. Hallelujah!

Today is a good day, my friends. A good day, indeed. Now I just have to take these tracks into the studio tomorrow and have our wonderful engineer Colin do his thing and make us sound like rock stars. It sounds as though (according to the rest of the band's reports, as they were already there today while I was at work) he's quite capable in that department.

I'm especially happy because I was able to redo the one vocal track I thought was the weakest, being that for the song "Summer", which I formerly recorded in the midst of my Strep Throat, which seems to have cleared up at last, as of this afternoon.

Mmm, yes, I was also quite tickled when Matt called me after work from the studio to tell me that the mixing was going great, as I was very afraid that all our efforts might have been in vain and the resulting tracks unusable. It sounds as though that's far from the case, as the rest of the band tells me that this is going to be their new favourite album (I'm sure their just a tad biased). I'm excited to get in there tomorrow to hear what they've already done, as well as to work on the songs under my care.

And, with that, after having had a celebratory cigarette up at the bus stop by our house (much nicer than the 'Help me Lord' cigarette I had last night as I was frantically bouncing tracks so Matt would have something to take to the studio today) , I shall bid you all adieu and retire, once again at around quarter to five in the morning. The amazing thing has been that with the amount of sleep I've been getting lately, I haven't been tired. God surely is good.

Psalm 18 everybody. That's where I stand.
